PEABODY – The Bishop Fenwick football team hasn’t missed a beat picking up where it left off last December. Thanks to Rufus Rushins’ three touchdowns and 196 yards on three carries, the Crusaders won their third game of the 2014 season, 36-0, over Arlington Catholic Friday at Donaldson Field.Rushins, who was last week’s Item/Agganis co-Player of the Week, had touchdown runs of 74 and 41 yards, and also recovered a fumble and ran it back 47 yards. Also scoring for Fenwick were Matt Renzulli, who opened the assault with a 22-yard run in the first quarter; and Miles Connor, who collected a 47-yard pass from Renzulli to close out a 22-point first quarter.”The kids played great tonight,” said coach Dave Woods. “But it’s been a Jekyll and Hyde type of season. We were great the first game and tonight, but last week … not so great.”I expect things to get ratcheted up this week, because we have Cardinal Spellman coming in next Friday night, and that’s going to be huge test for us. But we’re healthy, and that’s a good sign.”
