The Peabody boys soccer team historically has struggled with Danvers. Tuesday night at Coley Lee Field wasn?t one of those occasions.Senior forward Ben Manoogian had a career night as he scored four times to lead the Tanners to a 6-2 victory in an inter-divisional Northeastern Conference battle.?Danvers has always been a tough struggle for us but we played an excellent game (Tuesday),” Peabody coach Stan McKeen said.Manoogian did his damage equally in both halves as he scored twice in each. He staked Peabody (7-1-1, 7-0-1 NEC North) to a 1-0 lead early, assisted by Joao Correia. Correia then gave Peabody a 2-0 lead before Danvers cut the lead to one.Manoogian scored on a free kick late in the opening 40 minutes and then again early in the second half, assisted by Lucas Amiral, to make it 4-1.
