An Essex County grand jury Monday indicted three Saugus teens for their roles in an alleged sexual assault that was videotaped and distributed via Snapchat, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett announced Tuesday.Rashad Deihim, 19, and Kailyn Bonia, 18, both of Saugus, were indicted for kidnapping, two counts of assault to rape, posing a child in a state of nudity and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older. The grand jury also returned youthful offender indictments for Timothy Cyckowski, 17, of Saugus, for kidnapping, two counts of assault to rape and posing a child in a state of nudity. The teens are charged in connection with a Sept. 3 incident in which Cyckowski allegedly filmed Deihim and Bonia sexually assaulting an intoxicated 16-year-old girl and then allegedly distributed the videos via the mobile phone app Snapchat.Superior court arraignment dates for Deihim and Bonia have not been scheduled.Cyckowski’s case remains in juvenile court. Youthful offender indictments result in a juvenile being tried by a 12-person jury as opposed to a six-person jury, and the defendant is subject to house of correction or state prison terms if convicted. The trial remains in the juvenile court.Judges ordered Deihim and Bonia held without bail pending trial following their respective arraignments in Lynn District Court.Cyckowski’s father, Matthew Cyckowski, 37, was released on personal recognizance after being indicted for misleading police. The elder Cyckowski allegedly substituted his own cell phone for his son’s cell phone when giving the phone to the police as evidence.
