Lynn Police looking for bank robbery suspect

LYNN ? Police said they are seeking a white, middle-aged man who robbed Eastern Bank on Market Street Thursday afternoon.Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said a white man walked into the Eastern Bank at 112 Market St. at approximately 2:30 p.m. Thursday and passed a note demanding money. The suspect said he had a weapon, but no weapon was shown, and the man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, Donnelly reported.Nobody was injured in the incident, police said.The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 40 and 50 and measuring between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall. The man was clean-shaven and wearing black-rimmed eyeglasses, a green shirt and a Patriots hat, Donnelly said.Anyone with information on the incident or the suspect is asked to contact Lynn Police at 781-595-2000.
