LYNN ? State Police said a Boston woman and two Everett men were arrested for firearms charges early Sunday morning after a trooper pulled over a vehicle and found a loaded gun inside.Liza Silva, 19, of Boston, Jeremy Gonzalez, 20, of Everett, and Vincent Caruso, 20, also of Everett, were arrested and charged with receiving a firearm with a defaced serial number; possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card; and unlawful possession of a firearm without a license, according to a State Police press release.Silva was additionally charged with a marked-lanes violation. Caruso was also charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, police said.Trooper Chad Doucette reported that at approximately 2:37 a.m. Sunday while on patrol on the Lynnway, he saw a black Toyota RAV4 commit unspecified motor-vehicle violations, police said. The trooper pulled over the vehicle north of Market Street and identified the defendants as the occupants. A search of the motor vehicle revealed bags of marijuana and a RG 40 .38 caliber special firearm that had a defaced and unreadable serial number, according to the press release. Four rounds of .38 caliber ammunition were located inside the barrel of the gun.The defendants were booked at the Revere State Police Barracks and held pending bail, police reported.
