Lynn mayor backs Baker

LYNN ? Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy endorsed Charles D. Baker Jr. for Massachusetts governor Wednesday during a campaign stop at Brothers Deli.Baker, the Republican candidate, is the former secretary of administration and finance under governors Bill Weld and Paul Cellucci and the former CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. A Swampscott resident, he has spent the past three years as an entrepreneur-in-residence at the venture capital firm General Catalyst Partners.?I believe Charlie Baker is the right choice for Massachusetts,” said Kennedy. “His commitment to growing the Commonwealth’s economy and improving the quality of life for its people is unmatched.
