The MIAA football North playoffs for next weekend have been set.St. John’s Prep, Peabody, Marblehead, Beverly, Winthrop, Lynnfield, Swampscott and Bishop Fenwick move on. Classical, St. Mary’s, Saugus, Danvers and Revere drop into the non-playoff group for the final two weeks.In Division 1, Peabody is at Everett Friday night (7 p.m.) and St. John’s Prep, 28-0 winners over Chelmsford this morning, is home against Central Catholic Saturday (2) in a rematch of a game earlier this season that St. John’s won.In Division 3 Northeast, Marblehead will host Tewksbury(34-6 winners over Danvers today) next Friday night at Piper Field. The two teams met last year in the division final in Tewksbury, with the Redmen coming away with the win. Also in Division 3, Beverly (which won 12-0 over Wilmington today) will travel to Masconomet Friday night (7).Winthrop, the No. 1 seed in Division 4, will host Triton Friday night (7) while Swampscott will travel to Lynnfield, also on Friday (7) after the Pioneers defeated Saugus, 42-6, tonight.Finally, Lowell Catholic visits Bishop Fenwick Friday night (7) at Donaldson Field.In a Division 5 North playoff game this morning, St. Mary’s fell to Whittier, 22-14, in overtime.
