LYNN ? Police said a hit-and-run driver sent a Lynn woman to the hospital Friday morning with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-car accident on Broadway at Euclid Avenue.Police Lt. David Brown said an initial investigation indicated the driver, who was heading north on Broadway, ran the intersection’s red light at 9:15 a.m. and struck the other woman’s Honda Pilot. The woman in the Pilot was stopped at the light, headed south on Broadway.Emergency medical personnel treated the woman and transported her to Salem Hospital.Brown said the driver “fled the scene without stopping, passing several vehicles, and headed toward Peabody.” Brown identified the driver’s car as a Honda Accord. Police have not made an arrest and the accident remains under investigation.
