LYNN – Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after responding to 13 motor vehicle break-ins overnight Monday in East Lynn near Buchanan Bridge.”No damage was reported for any of these breaks, and the cars were left unlocked,” Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said in a message. “Most of the motor vehicles were parked in the driveway when the breaks occurred and the victims were sleeping.”Donnelly reported that two break-ins were reported on Coolidge and Waitt roads; single breaks took place on Gertrude Street, and Manning and Glenwood roads; and occurred on Westview Road.Donnelly said the break-ins happened overnight, and suspects stole loose change, GPS devices, keys, sunglasses, compact discs and computer equipment.He said there was one call for two suspicious individuals in the area, both of whom were dressed completely in black.One was described as a thin black male approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and carrying a backpack. A second individual was described as a white male approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall. Police said the break-ins are under investigation.
