Revere Molotov cocktail suspect arrested

LYNN – Police have arrested a Revere man accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at a sports bar last December.Vincent Dileone, 27, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possessing/throwing an infernal device; and attempted arson of a building, in connection with a Dec. 20, 2013 incident at Players Restaurant and Sports Bar on Western Avenue, Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said Thursday.Police responded to the restaurant last December on the report that somebody had thrown two Molotov cocktails at the restaurant about a half hour after the establishment closed. A fire outside the mixed-use commercial and residential building was extinguished when police arrived at the scene.Members of the Lynn Police, Lynn Fire Department and State Fire Marshal’s Office identified a possible suspect as a man who had gotten into a fight at the bar earlier that evening.Dileone is scheduled to appear in Lynn District Court Thursday.
