LYNN – Police are searching for a man who robbed Eastern Bank on Market Street Monday afternoon.Lynn Police responded at 1:51 p.m. Monday to the Eastern Bank at 112 Market St. on the report of a robbery. Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said a man passed a note to the teller demanding money, and left the bank out of the Oxford Street entrance with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was shown.The suspect was described as a black male about 6-feet tall wearing a black coat and hat. Anybody with information on the incident is asked to contact Lynn Police at 781-595-2000.
