Revere coach Joe Ciccarello thought that it would be a nice treat for his team to skate at the Tsongas Center against Lowell as part of their Christmas break.
Problem for the Patriots was that traffic wasn?t cooperating Tuesday afternoon.
It took nearly two hours for Revere to arrive in Lowell for their game against the Red Raiders and it showed as the hosts led 1-0 after a period.
However, the Patriots recovered their legs and used goals from Richie Polignone and Steve Noel to take a lead that goaltender Max Anderson made stand up in a 2-1 Revere victory.
?(Max) played phenomenal again,” Revere coach Joe Ciccarello said. “It was an ugly win but we will take it.”
