Flax Pond Association working for betterment of pond, surrounding area

LYNN – The Flax Pond Association continues to work with the city and its membership to keep the pond areas clean for the benefit of the neighborhoods and visitors to this area.The officers and board members have met recently to come up with strategies to control the geese population and continue working on clean-ups.In November they held a clean-up at the Lakeview Avenue side of the pond and will be holding more in the spring.A brochure with information about the association has been created and is being distributed to households around the pond and businesses in the area.The association continues to accept memberships, and there is a membership form on the brochure.
