Officers report 15-year-old female removed from child swing without incident.Peabody, May 6A Magnolia Road caller reported at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday that a squirrel was attacking him and caller is using a broom to knock it away. Man was instructed to go inside if he could do so safely. Officer reports animal contained in a box and neighbors on Arbutus Road will take possession of animal until animal-control officer arrives.Swampscott, May 6A North Shore Road caller reported at 5:23 p.m. Friday that an Arig Forster at 202-629-9004, who identified himself as a representative of the Tax Crime Investigation of the IRS, warned her she would be arrested for nonpayment of taxes if she didn’t send $2,700 in cash by Green Dot Moneypak. Caller reports bank advised her this was a scam. Officer reports calling back the number and an Arig Forster answered, then later identified himself as a John Forrester. Officer reports individual, upon request, spelled out his address as “115 F#!@ ME,” then hung up.Peabody, May 16Police received a report that read: “someone pulled a tree out of the ground and took it on the bus with them” on Friday at 6:32 a.m.Marblehead, May 23A report of a man dancing on the Pratt Overpass northbound at 3:38 p.m. Sunday. Officer reports unable to locate party in question.Saugus, May 25A report of fireworks at 9:04 p.m. Saturday at 21 Harrison Ave. Officer reports “party was asked to cease. He will comply.”A report of fireworks at 9:28 p.m. Saturday at 21 Harrison Ave. Officer reports “previous culprits thought it would be okay to detonate all the fireworks they had left. They did. It wasn’t. Officer returned and advised them of the consequences of a repeat visit.”A report of fireworks in the area of 21 Harrison Ave. at 10:15 p.m. Saturday. Homeowner to be summonsed for disturbing the peace.Peabody, May 24A caller reported a crossing guard just scraped the side of her motor vehicle with guard’s stop sign at 2:22 p.m. Friday at Humphrey and Maple streets, and the parents “are calling him every name in the book and the light was yellow at best.”Marblehead, June 6A Cornell Road caller reports a dog barking for 20 to 30 minutes every morning around 5 a.m. and requested the owner be contacted at 5:29 a.m. Tuesday. Officer reports that after speaking with the owner, caller was told that the owner was outside with the dog taking it for a walk and dog was only barking for a couple of minutes. Caller reported police have such a “cavalier attitude” about the matter and then proceeded to talk about multiple things she has seen or been told about the police department that she did not like.Marblehead, Aug. 5A caller from Gator Trace Drive in Florida alleged her sister killed their dog in 2011 and caller now has proof. Animal control officer advises filing complaint with Peabody District Court and file a police report if deemed necessary.
