Webster First roots for new Saugus softball fieldWebster First Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 to the new softball field that is being built at the Belmonte Middle School.Webster First, with two Saugus branches that provide banking and credit union needs to the Saugus community, is also a sponsor of Special Olympics Day, World Series Park and the Saugus YMCA.The construction of the field began Dec. 22 and is expected to be finished in time for the 2015 season. The field will be the home field for Saugus Softball Little League.Some of the financing has already been pledged, but more is needed.Individuals and businesses who would like to donate can make checks payable to Saugus Softball Little League and sent to Saugus Softball, P.O. Box 903, Saugus, MA 01906.All donations will be acknowledged at the spring dedication of the field.Lynn Realtor sold on new jobBelated congratulations to Eileen Jonah-Daly, new president of the North Shore Association of Realtors. Jonah-Daly works for the Lynn firm founded by her mother, Annmarie Jonah Realtors. A Realtor for more than 10 years, Jonah-Daly is a graduate of Simmons College. She lives in Lynnfield with her husband, Sean, and three children.
