Peabody welcomes Green Works, Inc.It is one of the largest recycling facilities on the North Shore and Green Works, Inc. received a Chamber of Commerce welcome to the city Tuesday with a Newbury Street ribbon cutting. According to Chamber President Deanne Healey, the plant will employ up to 40 workers and operate around the clock with 10 to 15 employees per shift. Truck traffic in and out of the facility will peak, Healey said, at 16 vehicles per hour.Fast-thinking firefighters to receive selectmen honorsSaugus Fire Capt. Chris Rizza, Lt. Post members honored the four, and the Board of Selectmen, on member Maureen Dever’s suggestion Tuesday night, plans to formally honor them at an upcoming meeting.
