MARBLEHEAD – Police are asking the public for help finding a suspect in the robbery of the 7-Eleven early Thursday morning.Marblehead Police received a call at approximately 4 a.m. Thursday reporting a robbery at the 7-Eleven on Pleasant Street, near the monument.Police said in a Facebook post that the suspect came behind the store’s register and pushed the female clerk aside, then stole an undetermined amount of money from the register before fleeing the store. The suspect did not show a weapon, police said.Police described the suspect as a white male approximately 5-feet 10-inches tall and wearing a dark-colored hood and a mask over his face. The suspect was described as wearing a Carhartt-style jacket and gray sweatpants and sneakers.The alleged victim reported that the suspect may have fled the area in a blue car.Police are asking that anybody who may have happened to be out in the area of Pleasant and Spring streets and perhaps saw or heard anything unusual to call them at 781-631-1212.
