Cronin’s many friends launched “Ralphie’s 12 Days of Christmas” just before Thanksgiving and sold $10 donation tickets in return for a chance to win a gift drawing each day between Dec. 14 and Christmas.Business and individuals contributing prizes, including gift certificates, for the drawings included About Face Skin Salon, city Community Development department employees, Lynnway Sports Center, Lazy Dog Pub, Walnut Street Cafe, Old Tyme Italian Restaurant, Juliana’s Beauty Salon, Lido Cafe, Brothers Deli, Rolly’s, Blue Ox and Tony’s Pub. Lynn Lions Club and Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development employees also contributed in Cronin’s memory.Promotion for Saugus’ AzzariConstruction management and general contracting firm BOND has promoted Saugus resident Edward Azzari to general superintendent, electric transmission and distribution services. Azzari supervised numerous projects throughout his 20-year career with the company, including two large underground transmission projects. He oversaw the $98 million NSTAR transmission project that ranks as one of BOND’s largest undertakings. His new duties include helping BOND extend its electric and gas transmission services throughout the Northeast, stated Regan Communications spokesman Ira Kantor.
