Looking for change for a $100 bill, Richard Noll of Revere multiplied his money by 100,000 when he bought a scratch ticket worth $10 million.Noll became the third $10 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Platinum Millions instant game. Needing to break a $100 bill so that he could pay cash for his lunch at a nearby sandwich shop, Noll went into Lanzilli Groceria in East Boston and purchased two $20 Platinum Millions tickets, one of which revealed his $10 million prize.Joined by his wife Leese, Noll claimed his prize Tuesday at the Mass. Lottery’s Braintree headquarters. He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $6.5 million. After taxes, he will receive $4.55 million, according to Lottery communications director Christian Teja.Noll said he plans on using his winnings to buy a house, make some investments and take his granddaughter to Disney World. Lanzilli Groceria, owned by Mitesh Patel, will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling him the ticket.The Platinum Millions instant game was launched in 2013. There are two additional $10 million prizes and 16 $1 million prizes remaining in the game, according to the Lottery.
