Peabody police said four adults were transported to hospitals with non life-threatening injuries after a car struck a private school-van on North Shore Road Friday afternoon.Police Lt. Arthur Yeo said a car struck an Econoline van operated by Georgetown-based Caring Choice hard enough to tip the van onto one side. The van’s adult driver and an adult passenger were transported by emergency medical workers to hospitals, with one of the adults sustaining a serious hand injury, Yeo said.The car’s driver was also transported to a hospital as was the driver of a third vehicle involved in the accident. The accident occurred near 500 North Shore Road at 3:59 p.m. Yeo did not have the individuals’ identities as of late Friday afternoon. He said the four adults were transported to Lahey Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital.
