Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy announced a 3 p.m. Monday parking ban to clear vehicles off local streets in advance of the impending blizzard. The ban is indefinite meaning vehicle owners should make off street parking arrangements until the city provides notice on when the ban will be lifted – check www.cityoflynn.net. Peabody and Saugus also announced parking bans effective 3 p.m. today. School yards and the commuter garage on Market Street are viable off-street options. There will be no parking allowed in the following school yards: Aborn, Fallon, and Sewell-Anderson
