The daughter of School Committeeman Rick Starbard, she has left her job at WBKB in Apena, Mich., where she had worked for six months, and will become weekend sports anchor and a reporter for WANE Fort TV in Fort Wayne, Ind.”I’m very appreciative of WBKB for this job and everyone from back home who followed my videos on Facebook, from my parents, my boyfriend, The Daily Item to Rolly’s Tavern,” she said. “They gave me a market I can’t refuse. I’m in market 208 now, but I’m moving to market 111, which means that more households watch it.”Fort Wayne is Indiana’s second biggest city, after Indianapolis, and opportunities range from Notre Dame, Purdue University, minor leagues to high school sports.”I couldn’t be more thrilled,” Rick Starbard said. “I’m so proud of what’s she’s accomplished.
