LYNN – A judge ordered a Revere man held without bail Tuesday for allegedly shooting a man in the head during a drug robbery in January.Henry Santos, 29, of 70 Grave Road #1, Revere, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Lynn District Court to charges of attempted murder; armed robbery; discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling; carrying an unlicensed firearm; and carrying a loaded unlicensed firearm; in connection with a Jan. 13 incident.Police responded at approximately 6:17 p.m. on that date to a Fortesque Terrace apartment where officers found a 49-year-old city man conscious but bleeding from a gunshot wound to the head, according to a report by Lynn Police Officer Michael Nerich. The alleged victim was taken to Salem Hospital and then transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital. The original caller said two Hispanic men in their 20s or 30s and wearing black clothing came to the apartment to sell the alleged victim marijuana. An argument began and one of the Hispanic men shot the alleged victim, police reported the caller said.Police reported the alleged victim was at first unable to identify his alleged assailant in a photo lineup. But two weeks later, the alleged victim asked to see the lineup again, saying he wasn’t feeling well the first time because he had just come home from “having the bullet removed from his head,” Lynn Police Det. Edward Pettipas said. The alleged victim then identified Santos as his assailant, police reported. The alleged victim also said that Santos – whom he knew as “Pino” – also stole his safe containing about $200 and jewelry, police reported.Judge Allen Swan found probable cause for Santos to be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Tuesday, according to court documents.
