Chuck Allen has shed the ?interim’ from his title as boys’ hockey coach at Bishop Fenwick. Allen was appointed interim coach earlier this season when Dan Lynch stepped away from the job for personal reasons.
“We would once again like to thank coach Lynch for his years of service and his dedication to our players and our hockey program as we made the transition to Division 1,” said Fenwick athletic directorDavid Woods. “Bishop Fenwick is very fortunate to have someone of Coach Allen’s caliber leading our program as we move forward and continue to build a Division 1 hockey program.
“Coach Allen and his staff have many years of experience and a great deal of passion for the game and for their players. The Bishop Fenwick program has made great strides over the past few seasons and with Coach Allen and his staff leading the way, along with many young returning players, the future of Bishop Fenwick hockey is very bright.”The Fenwick boys’ hockey team finished the season 6-11-3, the third year in Division 1. Allen had previously coached Medford and Somerville.
