Saugus accident leaves one person entrapped

SAUGUS – Police said two people were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital after one was entrapped in an accident on Lincoln Avenue Thursday.Police responded to the area of Cogliano Plaza on Lincoln Avenue at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday on the report of a two-car crash involving injuries. Saugus Police Assistant Chief Ronald Giorgetti said one person was entrapped in a vehicle, and two people were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with injuries.Giorgetti said Thursday night that no other information about the victims was available and the incident remained under investigation.The scene was cleared about 8:20 p.m.
