REVERE – Beginning Monday, the city of Revere will begin collecting space savers along city streets.”We do understand that we’ve had a tremendous amount of snow this year, and have been understanding with people who have shoveled out their spots for parking in front of or near their homes,” Mayor Daniel Rizzo’s office said in an announcement. “However, parking on the street is considered public parking and by definition is open to the public.”The mayor’s office asked that residents remove any space savers, or they will be removed by Capital Waste beginning Monday.
