BOSTON – Jury selection began Tuesday in the murder trial of a Lynn resident charged in connection with a 2012 fatal drug robbery in Dorchester.Stephane Etienne, 21, of Lynn, is charged with second-degree murder; armed robbery; home invasion; and possession with intent to distribute Class D drugs; in connection with the Jan. 13, 2012 homicide of Christopher Pichardo.Pichardo, 18, was fatally shot during a drug robbery on Trull Street in Dorchester that prosecutors allege Etienne helped plan and execute.The jury selection continues today in Suffolk Superior Court.
