Lynn English JROTC Drill Team wants to take you out to the ball gameThe Lynn English High School Marine Corps JROTC Drill Team will be traveling again to the National High School Drill Team Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla. The cadets are raffling off two pairs of tickets, compliments of the Solimine family, to the Red Sox-Yankees game on Saturday, July 11.Cadets will be selling raffle tickets for $1 each, six for $5 and 15 for $10. The drawing will be during school hours on April 13.Rallying around the DunnsRoss Dunn and his family were devastated by a March 24 fire and local E-Team machine shop training graduates, as well as friends and family, are stepping up for the Dunns with an April 12 benefit from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hibernian Hall.The benefit will include food, raffles, music by DJ Itchy-P and a special performance by up-and-coming local band, Tigerman Woah. Everyone who brings a gift card for the family receives a free raffle ticket.
