LYNN – Brotherhood Credit Union donated $2,800 to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless to help heat homes in Lynn this past winter.”We learned about the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless through the Cooperative Credit Union Association and were eager to help local residents.”We were happy to help out a few families this winter,” said Adam H. Sherman, CFO Brotherhood Credit Union. In total, Brotherhood Credit Union has donated $22,600 to help Lynn residents heat their homes over the course of the last eight years.”The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless is grateful to Brotherhood Credit Union for its generous gift to assist low-income households in the City of Lynn with heating fuel.”This winter (was) like no other we have seen in many a year and the funds for heating fuel comes just at the right time,” said Robyn Frost, Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless executive director.Brotherhood has been serving its members in and around Lynn for more than 80 years.
