Lynn Classical Hall of Fame induction ceremony May 16

The Lynn Classical High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Saturday, May 16, at the Nahant Country Club.The event begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour, followed by the induction. This year’s event will include achievement as well as athletic accomplishments.The inductees are: John “Jack” Carroll, Class of 1973, baseball; Walter A. Cuffe Jr., achievement; David Dufour, 1976, football, soccer, baseball, basketball; Lynn Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy, 1980, achievement; Thomas Grassa, basketball; Michael Hegan, 1966, football, track, baseball; Dennis Keaney, 1966, basketball; Monique Lee, 2004, basketball; Karen McCarthy Martin, 1981, softball, basketball; Eric McGrath, 2004, football, baseball; Greg Meehan, 1979, football, hockey, baseball; Anthony “Nick” Meninno, 1953, achievement; Darrell Murkison, 1978, football, basketball, baseball, track; Denise Silva, 1980, swimming; Paul Stafford, 1961, achievement; William “Billy” Surrette, 1970, football, hockey, baseball.Tickets, which will not be sold at the door, are $40 and may be purchased at Lynn Classical High School, 781-477-7404.
