St. Mary?s (6-9) was clicking on all cylinders when it defeated Cardinal Spellman, 16-8, at home on Wednesday night.
Maggie Flaherty led the offensive charge with five goals, and Paige Fielding tallied four. Sarah Ryan and Kaylin Deschemes each netted two, and Liz Weisse, Sophya Fuccione, and Courtney Cassidy scored one apiece.
Emma Harvey had six saves and Brittany McPherson recorded seven in the Spartan net.
?It was a nice win,” said coach Al Eaton. “We spread it out amongst the whole team. We?re doing what we need to do down the stretch here, and I think we?re stronger now than when this season started.”
Beverly 7, Peabody 6
Megan Gavin came through for Beverly with less than a minute remaining, netting her third goal of the contest to lift the Panthers in Peabody.

Sydney Cooke scored twice for the Tanners, and Sarah Napolitano, Lauren Wolfe, Adrianna Raneri, and Sarah Goldschall had a goal apiece. For Beverly, Grace Otterbein netted two, and Alicia Cecchini and Elizabeth Musumeci each scored one.
Beverly coach Dennis Desroches credited Alyssa Shashaty, Mia Lomansey. and Chole Gizzi with solid defensive play.

Merry Harrington had five goals in Fenwick?s (8-4) loss. Tori Hernandez, Hannah Durkin, Colleen Corcoran, Molly Camelo. and Alex Butler all had one goal apiece.
Manchester-Essex 12, Marblehead 11
Hadley Carlton led the scoring for Marblehead (8-2) with four goals, and Ellie Ronan and Caroline Driscoll each had three for the Magicians. Amanda Gregory had a goal, two assists, and an interception.
?It was a tough loss to a fast, quick opponent,” said Marblehead coach Annie Pugh. “We will learn from the loss and move forward.”
Danvers 16, Swampscott 6
Morgan Mscisz was the big scorer for Danvers with five goals while Abby Armstrong had four goals and Allie Zunick had two goals and two assists for the Falcons.
