Lynn students shine in Massachusetts Lions All State BandThe Lions of Lynn – Shoe City Lions, Wyoma Lions and Lynn Lions – hosted six Lynn high school band students to the Massachusetts Lions All State Band this past weekend in Mansfield/Foxboro for the 87th annual state convention of the Lions of Massachusetts. The All State Band, made up of students from all over the state, performed in concert at a Friday evening banquet, as well as performing a full concert on Saturday, after only three days of practicing together.Nephthali Beos on piccolo and Matthieu Bruneau on drums both performed solos. There were many exciting and poignant moments in this year’s convention, and the All State Band members made it all very memorable with their musical talents, poise and fun-loving nature as they performed everything from jazz, rock, blues, opera and the outstanding crescendo of the “1812 Overture.”Police still waiting on answer on wedding ringA wedding ring found in the city Friday has yet to be claimed, Massachusetts State Police said Wednesday, and they are renewing their call for help finding its owner.”Loved one lose a wedding band?
