The Bulldogs (7-4) had everything clicking on Thursday, as they cruised to a 15-0 victory at home over Salem in five innings on Thursday.

Lucas Harris went the distance for English, allowing three hits and a walk. Harris needed just 50 pitches to get through the five frames.
?He was very efficient and threw strikes, and we made the plays we needed to make behind him,” said Caponigro.
Brett Molea tripled and singled, driving in two runs and scoring twice for the Bulldogs. Tony Medrano singled and scored twice. Victor Aleman had two hits and one RBI, and Anthony de la Cruz reached base four times with two walks, a hit and getting hit by a pitch.
Lynn Classical 18, Malden 2
The Rams routed Malden in six innings. Classical starter Tyler Way tossed five solid frames, allowing four hits and two walks and fanning five. He was not charged with an earned run. Way also came up big at the plate for the Rams, going 1-for-3 with three runs scored, three stolen bases and an RBI.
Senior captain Damien Earp went 2-for-5, scored three runs, drove in a run and swiped three of Classical?s 13 stolen bases. Sophomore Matt Lauria went 2-for-4 with three runs scored, three RBI and two stolen bases. Kyle Morrill drove in two, Andre Gaudet had a hit and RBI, Joe Tardiff scored two, stole two bases and drove in a run, and Pedro Betances had a pinch-hit two-run single.

Manchester-Essex 4, Lynnfield 3
It was a tough one to lose for the Pioneers, as they headed into the bottom of the seventh up a run, but two unearned runs led to a Manchester-Essex walk-off victory.
Scoreless after three, Nick Pascucci reached on a single and Bryant Dana singled him home to put the Pioneers on top. The Hornets tied things up in the bottom of the inning, but a leadoff walk from Jack Sheehan and a run-scoring double from Nick Theophiles put Lynnfield ahead.
With the score knotted at two in the sixth, Justin Guiliano drove in Spencer Balian after he worked a leadoff walk.
Nick Colucci pitched a complete game, scattering seven hits and allowing just one earned run while striking out eight.

J. P. Reilling struck out seven and allowed just one earned run on five hits for Fenwick.

It was a frustrating day offensively for the Crusaders (5-7), as they left eight runners on base, and had the bases loaded with one out in the sixth and two on in the seventh, but were unable to capitalize. R. J. Libby stood out with the bat, with two hits.
SOFTBALL
Salem 5, Saugus 2
The Saugus (4-6) bats were quiet on Thursday, unable to give much run support to starter Brooke Westmoreland, who went six innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits and striking out four.
?Hitting was a struggle for us today,” said Sachems coach Jessica Lucier. “We need to get the bats going. We need to score to win.”
Katie Sheehan went 2-for-3 for Saugus, and Pauline Acolese had a solo home run.
Austin Prep 7, Bishop Fenwick 2
Fenwick?s freshman first baseman Lucianna Mastromatteo went 2-for-3 with an over-the-fence home run, her fifth of the season. Katie O?Brien had the only other hit for the Crusaders on the day, going 1-for-3. Mikayla Porcaro played a great game defensively at shortstop, according to Fenwick coach Paul Lyman. Lauren Hallice took the loss for the Crusaders, but only allowed three earned runs.
Gloucester 3, Danvers 2
It came down to the wire in Gloucester as the Falcons, down 3-1 in the seventh, loaded the bases and scored once, but Gloucester (5-4) ended the threat to pull out the win.
Karina Keenan was the winning pitcher, throwing a complete game and allowing just one earned run. Meghan Manning had three
