Lahey breast cancer center accredited

DANVERS – Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers Breast Health Center has received a full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.”Breast cancer affects more than 200,000 women every year and accounts for nearly one out of every three cancer diagnoses in the United States,” said Denielle Palm, manager, Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers Breast Health Center. “We pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive continuum of care for our patients in a compassionate, community setting.”The Breast Health Center offers the latest technology and diagnostic techniques for breast care, including risk assessments, genetic counseling, personalized education and support, advanced treatment options, access to clinical trials and physical therapy.
