Corey Wojewodzic scored six goals and had three assists as the Lynn Shamrocks (3-12) beat Lynn Tech, 12-1, Friday night at Manning Field.
Wojewodzic now has 35 goals on the season.
Nicky Duong scored three times for the Shamrocks, and Chris Foley and Jonathan Benivades each added one. Ryan Clark scored his first goal of the season. Jack Stafford chipped in with an assist.
?Everyone worked hard tonight,” said Shamrocks coach PeterPappagianopoulos. “It was a full team effort, everyone played well.”
For Lynn Tech (0-16), Justin Taylor netted the team?s only goal.
Peabody 11, North Reading 5
Josh Fiore had three goals and an assist and Bobby Caproni also scored three times for the Tanners.
Matt Pino had two goals, Zach Bille had a goal and two assists, and Reed Foster had a goal and an assist.
The duo of Frank Falco ? who also scored a goal for Peabody ? and Ethan Mercedes combined to win 19 of the 20 faceoffs for the Tanners.
?They really dominated today,” said Peabody coach Anthony O?Donnell. “That really allowed us to control the pace of play and the progression.”
Goalie Matt Cloutman had 10 saves for the Tanners.
Ipswich 12, Gloucester 7
The Fishermen kept it close early on, getting out to two quick goals to kick off the contest, but lost it as Ipswich scored five in the second half.
Winslow Lewis had three goals, and Thomas Donahue and Jason Erwin each netted two. John Salvi-Souza was strong on defense, causing turnovers and picking up ground balls for Gloucester (4-11).
GIRLS
Marblehead 16, Gloucester 1
The Marblehead offense was out in full force, scoring 14 times in the first half while holding Gloucester scoreless.
Caroline Driscoll had four goals, Grace McGurrin scored three times and had two assists, and both Ellie Ronan and Abby Settelmeyer had two goals and an assist for the Magicians (10-3-1). Niamh Healy scored twice and Hadley Carlton netted one.
Lucie Poulin also scored one and picked up three ground balls. Chase Davies and Amanda Gregory each had an assist.
Salem 9, Swampscott 7
Nicole Sadoway and Emily Coelho each scored three goals in the Salem victory. Brianna Valido, Elizabeth Roush, and Julia Donahue also scored for the Witches (7-5).
Jessica Jellison and Emily Lonergan both caused five turnovers on defense for Salem. Cam Connolly and Gabby Rocheville also played well on defense, and goalie Sydney Rocheville had 19 saves in the net.
