St. Pius V School inaugurates Student CouncilSt. Pius V School recently held its annual Student Council Inauguration. The members of the 2014-2015 Executive Board transferred power to the newly elected 2015-2016 Executive Board, which officially began its duties.Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy gave the keynote address to the students, faculty and guests. City councilor at large Buzzy Barton presented outgoing officers with citations from the city of Lynn. State Rep. Robert Fennell and state Sen. Thomas McGee presented the incoming officers with certificates from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts during the reception in the lower church hall.The 2015-2016 St. Pius V School Executive Board of Commissioners include Commissioner General Taban Manyok; Assistant Commissioner General Kathryn Leelman; Commissioner of Athletics Keri Clougherty; Commissioner of Finance Rebecca Leelman; Commissioner of Publicity Tyler Dugan; Commissioner of Religious Affairs Louis Wood; Secretary Karyle Slepoy; and Commissioner of School Spirit Katherine Clancy.
