June 2, 2015 by Matthew Roy

Revere senior Sabrina Palermo was named the Northeastern Conference softball MVP as the league announced its all-stars on Tuesday. Marblehead?s Jon Gold, who guided the Magicians to a 16-3 record, was chosen as coach of the year.

She was one of six Revere players who were selected for the team.
Gold, meanwhile, lead Marblehead to a perfect conference record and the best regular-season record in his tenure with the Magicians. Marblehead also had six players selected as all-stars.
The NEC all-conference team selections were as follows:
Catcher: Caitlin McBride, Danvers.
Infield: Sam Rizzo, Swampscott; Desiree Martin, Salem; Kristina Stella, Revere; Montana Joyce, Marblehead.
Outfield: Christina King, Swampscott; Ally Pia, Beverly; Emma DeJoie, Lynn Classical.
Pitcher: Shelbi Wilson, Peabody; Ivy Martin, Lynn Classical; Madi Ernst, Marblehead.
Utility: Shanna Zeramby, Lynn English.
