Planet Fitness ready to open in Lynn

LYNN – Planet Fitness, the health club franchise known for its affordable prices, will open its first club in Lynn at 50 Boston St. – the old Johnnie’s Foodmaster – Tuesday.A ribbon cutting will be held on Monday, June 25 between 4-6 p.m. with food, beverages and a raffle for the chance to win a one-year membership, among other prizes.Up to the grand opening, new members can join for just $1 down and then $10 a month with no commitment.The new Lynn club offers state-of-the-art cardio machines and strength equipment, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, numerous flat-screen televisions, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning booths and beds, and Total Body Enhancement booths.
