Sin City Cycles gives back in Lynn

June 24, 2015 by Tara Vocino

LYNN – Sin City Cycles handed out free T-shirts to My Brother?s Table patrons Tuesday morning, many of whom are former customers from the Lynn location. The company passed out about 130 T-shirts, owner Greg Domey Sr. said.?I?m a humble guy, and I have a really big heart,” Domey said. “I was the bully beater in high school, and always stood up for people, especially the disabled and those with special needs.”Domey called the day the “pride of Lynn,” as many of the patrons were their former customers when Sin City Cycles was located at 156 Franklin St. The business now stands at 14 Mount Vernon St. in Lynn and 356 Central St. in Saugus.Domey said the patrons aren?t able to afford the T-shirts normally and that he is proud to help them. He estimated about half of them are most likely homeless, or at least struggling.?I hope it starts their day off well,” Domey said, who plans to serve food at My Brother?s Table. “I hope I can shed some good light on them.”Todd Berry, 51, of Lynn, who visits My Brother?s Table biweekly after a leg amputation, said they?re helping out people who really need it.?That?s the most generous thing that people can do – to selflessly give back to people,” Berry said. “Everyone is smiling and happy today because of that.”Angel Rundstrom, 37, of Lynn, was sporting a Sin City jacket with her new T-shirt and is a former customer.?It?s a good thing if people are homeless and don?t have the means to buy one,” Rundstrom said.Greg Domey Jr., who gave out shirts with his father, said they?re back to their roots in Lynn and where they came from.
