Lynn Woods race series running on

The summer races at Lynn Woods continued on Wednesday, with 260 runners finishing among the three race divisions.
In the kids’ race, which is 1.59 miles long, 12 year-old Kevin Kelsey of Beverly took first place with a time of 11 minutes, 7 seconds. Olivia Waterman, 11, of Lynn (13:15) won the girls’ division.
Liam Crichton (12, Beverly, 11:11), Will Bonchak (7, Lynn, 12:57), Ryan Amirault (8, Lynn, 13:13) and Sean Osbahr (11, Nahant, 13:17) were the top boys’ finishers.
Kate Kelsye (10, Beverly, 15:53), Sabrina Armstrong (11, Lynn, 15:57), Stephanie Currran (12, Wakefield, 17:22) and Abigail Morris (14, Lynn, 18:58) were the top girls’ finishers.
In the shorter race around Steel Tower via the Goat Path, four of the top five finishers were from Lynn, including Doug Wilson, 19, who finished first with a time of 17:31. Andrew Kreamer, 16, of Lynn finished second (18:05) and James Cabral, 17, of Lynn finished third (18:41). Swampscott’s Matthew Nardinello, 21, finished in fourth place with a time of 19:13, while 9-year-old Kevin Smart of Lynn took fifth with a time of 19:43.
In the women’s division Brittani Atkinson, 22, of Peabody, won with a time of 19:44. She was followed by Tinia Suggs, 27, of Salem (23:17), Carrie Bochnak, 40, of Lynn (24:10), Cait Mullins, 10, of Marblehead (24:28) and Verena Runstadler, 11, of Swampscott (24:31).
In the longer race, on 4.08-mile Twin Towers course, 25-year-old Alex Derosa of Saugus took first with a time of 26: 11. He was followed by Mark Dawson, 28, of Peabody (26:43), Jim Pawlicki, 40, of Lynn (27:16), Adam Cook, 16, of Melrose (27:47) and Chris Smith, 49, of Woburn (28:04).
Deirdre Lowe, 36, of Salem won the women’s division with a time of 31:19. She was followed by Jennifer Downing, 39, of Peabody (33:06), Erin Hickey-Reardon, 35, of Reading (34:14), Susan Collins, 47, of Rowley (34:57) and Julie Haynes, 56, of Swampscott (35:11).
