Lynn Woods races roll on

Liam Crichton, 12, of Beverly, won the 1.59-mile kids’ race at the weekly Lynn Woods cross country series in a time of 11 minutes, 52 seconds. He was followed by Will Bochnak, 7, of Lynn (12:15), Kate Kelsey, 10 of Beverly (14:35), Mae Genovese, 13, of Marblehead (15:42), Ben Morgan, 7, of Woburn (16:26), Stephanie Curran, 12, of Wakefield (17:07), Tyler Fukuda, 10, of Swampscott (17:27), Ian Brown, 8, of Lynn (17:27), Alex Waterman, 7, of Lynn (17:27), Jay Fox, 10, of Swampscott (18:35), Lex Picillo, 7, of Salem (18:41), Abigail Morris, 14, of Lynn (18:50), and Lydia Calderan, 13, of Lynn (18:54).
Andy Choun, 17, of Lynn, won the men’s division of the race to Steel Tower via the Goat Path in a time of 20:40. He was followed by Nicholas Westin, 17, of Lynn (20:48), Charlie Hyer, 7, of Swampscott (20:52), Danny Nguyen, 16, of Salem (20:54), and Deyondre Gill, 17, of Lynn (20:56).
Jodi Hyer, 43, of Swampscott, won the women’s division in the Steel Tower with a time of 20:57. She was followed by Stephanie Lannon, 25, of Swampscott (24:24), Marie Mullen, 28, of Peabody (24:49), Andrea Saccardo, 23, of Peabody (24:55), and Jenna Henry, 24, of Manchester (25:05).
In the longer, aptly named ?I Hate the Dam(n) Run,’ Matt Veiga, 28, of Lynn won the men’s division with a time of 38:17. He was followed by Jim Pawlicki, 40, of Lynn (38:57), Adam Cooke, 16, of Melrose (39:20), Nicholas Hartmann, 21, of Swampscott (40:24), and Patrick Joy, 37, of Salem (40:49).Deirdre Lowe, 36, of Salem won the women’s division in a time of 44:37. She was followed by Cathi Campble, 47, of Allston (46:14), Alice Beltran-Rodman, 40, of Reading (50:38), Michelle Simons, 42, of Lynn (52:14), and Meghan Clancy, 19, of Lynn (52:31).
