Four students receive scholarships from NSMC Union Hospital AuxiliaryThe NSMC Union Hospital Auxiliary met on May 20 in the healing atrium at Union Hospital to present its annual donation to benefit the hospital. Recipients of the donations were Robert Ferdinand R.N., C.R.N.I., director of I.V. Therapy and Infusion Services for Lynn and Salem Hospitals; Lynn Walton, director of Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Union Hospital; and Chaplin Amanda Hameling.At the auxiliary’s June 10 meeting, Betsy Gallant, president, and Mary Kelter, scholarship chairperson, presented scholarships to four high school seniors who have been accepted to a degree program in a health-related field. The recipients are Victoria Ly, Jessica Savoie, Gabriela Molica and Meaghan Sarno.The object of the auxiliary is to assist and cooperate with the management of Union Hospital in its operation and particularly to raise money to fund projects undertaken for the benefit of Union Hospital.
