LYNN – A Walter Street man who is already facing charges of attempted murder as the result of a triple-shooting in May, was arraigned Friday in a pretrial hearing on charges of trafficking in cocaine.Antron J. Bogues, 29, of 37 Walter St., Apt. 2, is alleged to have dealt more than 36 grams, but less than 100.Police discovered the cocaine following the May 16 shooting, which police said he initiated, at 17 Highland Ave., in which Bogues suffered seven gunshot wounds. He is charged with assault to murder for that incident.Bogues is due back in court Aug. 24 for a probable cause hearing.According to a police report by Officer Michael McEachern, one victim in the shooting suffered a single gunshot wound on the left forearm, and another had at least four wounds.All three people were transported to various hospitals for treatment.Lynn Police Officer Michael Crosby observed two large bags of a white rock-like substance, believed to be crack, being handled by Bogues while tending to Bogues? injuries. Bogues attempted to hide the bags from police under his body, and in his right pants pocket, McEachern said.McEachern said the bags are estimated to be 46.6 grams of suspected cocaine, and there were 12 .40-caliber shell casings used in the shooting.
