The Lynn Parks and Recreation Department’s summer basketball league continued on Monday at Breed Middle School.
In the elementary-school division, Councilor Rick Ford’s team defeated John Walsh’s squad, 25-21. Oliver Gravely was the high scorer in the game with 12 points for Ford while Ly Rivera had eight for Walsh.
The other elementary-school game had Robert W. Irving’s team beating Gannon, 40-23. Wally Slorentio had a game-high 12 points for Irving while Gianny Francois had 10 for Gannon.
The middle-school division saw Leahy Landscaping squeak out a 40-38 win over Gannon, which got 31 points from Rondell Brathwaite. Diego Lopez had 16 for Leahy.
Meninno Construction defeated Lynn Housing Authority, 58-55, in the other middle-school contest. Thaizel Espinal had 26 points for Meninno with Jeffrey Hill scoring 15 for Lynn Housing Authority.
In high school division action, EZ Landscaping defeated Old Neighborhood Foods, 68-66, thanks to 24 points from Gilbert Finaya. Javier Pimental had a game-high 26 for Old Neighborhood.The other high school game had DeIulis Brothers beating Eastern Bank, 63-52. Abraham Diaz was the top scorer for DeIulis with 17 points while Eric Solis had 15 for Eastern Bank.
