Young Professionals initiative July 23 at VNA

LYNN – The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce will launch its Young Professionals initiative Thursday, July 23 on the rooftop of the All Care VNA Building, 210 Market St., with spirit and food tasting from 5:30 to 8 p.m.Ryan & Wood Distillery from Gloucester will showcase their line of vodka, rum, whiskey and gin; and Mystic Brewery from Chelsea will offer samplings of a variety of beer.Young entrepreneurs from both businesses will speak briefly about owning and growing their businesses.”The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce has had a surge in young professionals joining,” says President/CEO Leslie Gould.The committee is comprised of tri-chairs Brendan Ward (Ward Estate & Family Law), Brendan Freeman (Wayne Alarm Systems) and Anthony Migliaccio (Salvy the Florist).Committee members Joe Scianatico (Salem Five), Jim Reese (Welch Florist) and Andrew Nazzaro (KW Insurance) have been working to create a series of networking events and substantive workshops tailor-made for a younger generation ages 25-45 years old but all members and non-member business owners and employees are always invited.RSVP is a must and tickets are $20.
