Lynn Woods races sprint along

The Lynn Woods cross country series returned to action on Wednesday with another full field of competitors participating on a muggy evening.
In the 1.59-mile kids’ race, Lynn’s Will Bochnak, 7, took first place in a time of 11 minutes, 11 seconds. Following him were Quinn Garry, 9, of Ipswich (11:56), Olivia Waterman, 11, of Lynn (12:48), Caroline Johnson, 12, of Marblehead (13:20), Sean Osbahr, 11, of Nahant (13:23), Kate Kelsey, 10, of Beverly (14:18), Katherine Clancy, 13, of Lynn (14:52), Hannah Desilets, 8, of Lynn (15:31), William Glass, 12, of Lynn (16:26) and Jay Fox, 10, of Swampscott (16:43).
In the men’s division run to Steel Tower via the Goat Path, Doug Wilson, 19, of Lynn took first place in 16:49. Following him were Matthew Bono, 25, of Saugus (16:56), Ryan Cristiano, 19, of North Reading (17:01), Jack Carroll, 15, of Lynn (17:12) and Brendan Morris, 16, of Lynn (17:34).
Tiana Foglietta, 18, of Lynn took the women’s division in the Steel Tower run with a time of 18:18. Behind her were Brittani Atkinson, 22, of Peabody (18:58), Meghan Clancy, 19, of Lynn (19:14), Vicki Blais, 58, of Topsfield (20:37) and Lai-Sahn Hackett, 23, of Peabody (20:39).
In the 6.5-mile Skull Run, the men’s division was won by Adam Cook, 16, of Melrose in 43:45. Following him was Nakri Dao, 42, of Lynn (44:09), William Jackson, 33, of Salem (44:44), Christopher Stank, 36, of Lynn (44:55) and Jim Pawlicki, 40, of Lynn (44:59).The women’s division of the Skull Run was won by Courtney Koschei, 29, of Saugus in 56:04. Behind her were Katia Bertoldi, 37, of Somerville (57:31), Patty Gouthro, 53, of Lynn (1:00:29), Brenda Rogatu, 51, of Lynn (1:00:30) and Freddi Pare, 43, of Beverly (1:01:18).
