Robert W. Irving’s team beat John Walsh’s squad, 47-42, Monday in the elementary-school division of the Lynn Parks and Recreation Department’s weekly summer basketball league at Breed Middle School. Ali Barry had 15 points for the Irving team while Victor Mafo was top scorer for Walsh.
Councilor Rick Ford’s team beat Gannon, 62-20, in the other elementary-school game. Oliver Gravely had 22 points to lead Ford, while Zi’ameri Jones led Gannon with 14 points.
In the middle school division, the Lynn Housing Authority team upended Gannon, 59-45, led by 26 points from Noah Thomas. Keshon Birch had 18 for Gannon. Leahy Landscaping beat Meninno Construction, 50-44, in the other middle school game. Antonio Carasquilla led Leahy with 21 points, while Thaizel Espinal had a game-high 25 for Meninno.
In the high school division Old Neighborhood beat EZ Landscaping, 80-70. Anthony Silfa of Lynn English led Old Neighborhood with 19 points. Gilbert Minaya had 18 points for EZ Landscaping.
In theother high school game, DeIulis Brothers beat Eastern Bank, 76-49. Tommy Rijo and Shaiheen Mazil had 15 points apiece for DeIulis while Ishmael Johnson had 15 for Eastern Bank.
