Car slams into Marblehead office

MARBLEHEAD – A car driven by an unidentified elderly person crashed into the Coldwell Banker office on 2 Atlantic Ave. Wednesday afternoon, with no injuries reported, police said.The Marblehead 911 center received reports at 2:30 p.m. of the accident, in which a car with two elderly persons inside had left the roadway and crashed into the building. While the vehicle was covered with debris from the side of the building, the occupants of the car were not harmed and declined medical treatment, police said.There were also no injuries reported among those inside the building.Traffic in the area known as the Five-Corners Intersection was snarled with emergency vehicles and onlookers.
