Runners sprint to Lynn Parks and Recreation annual 4×1-mile relay

A crowd of runners showed up at Manning Field on Friday evening for the annual 4×1-mile relay hosted by the Lynn Parks and Recreation Department.
The relays were divided into six groups: men’s open, women’s open, high school boys, high school girls, coed, and a group of overall winners.
The overall winner was the team of Keiran Condon, Brian Cullinan, Matthew Anderson, and Joe Lauer with a time of 20:12. The team of Michael Weidenbruch, Jacob Ol, Ian Struthers, and Adam Linsky finished second (21:13) and the foursome of Kevin Delaney, Amory Salem, Jon Waldron, and Terry McNatty finished third (21:21).
The team of Condon, Cullinan, Anderson, and Lauer won the men’s open group with a time of 20:12. David Penn, Bill Dumont, Bryan Riley, and Jeff Maistrosky finished second with a time of 23:30.
Weidenbruch, Ol, Struthers, and Linsky won the high school boys’ group with a time of 21:13. Kevin Francisco, Andy Choun, Joshua Osawe, and James Cabral finished second (21:53) and Drew Thibult, Neil Mistretta, Timo Raeder, and Jason Shamesma finished third (21:58).
The team of Delaney, Salem, Waldron, and McNatty won the coed group with a time of 21:21. Adam Cook, Douglas Wilson, Edgar Ortega, and Elizabeth McDermott finished second (22:06). and Daniel Forester, Michael Veatc, Denise Yong, and Lauren Hamilton finished third (26:28).
The high school girls’ group only had one team race. Allyson Golastein, Kelly Bake, Julia D’Agostino and Kaitlyn M. finished with a time of 29:21.
The women’s open group also had just one team race. Elizabeth Hirsch, Kat Frazier, Gasida Carianna, and Katie Maher finished with a time of 27:51.
