Lynn Woods cross country races continue

For the third week in a row, Will Bochnak, 7, of Lynn won the 1.59-mile kids’ race in the Lynn Woods cross country series. Bochnak finished in a time of 11 minutes, 45 seconds.
Behind him were Liam Crichton, 12, of Beverly (11:52), Finn Bonnet (9, Beverly, 12:26), Liam Powell (9, Swampscott, 12:36), Cierra Johnson (9, Lynn, 13:14), Katherine Clancy (13, Lynn, 13;20), Kate Kelsey (10, Beverly, 14:59), Ryan Amirault (8, Lynn, 15:00), Hannah Desilets (8, Lynn, 16:06) and Tyler Fukuda (10, Swampscott, 16:47).
In the 3.05-mile run on Tracy Trail to the Goat Path, Peabody’s Mark Dawson, 28, won the men’s division in a time of 18:50. Taking second place was Matthew Bono, 25, of Saugus (19:22) followed by Michael Wiedenbrauc (17, Marblehead, 23:25), Jonathan Nop (20, Lynn 23:35), and Brendan Morris (16, Lynn, 23:38).
Peabody’s Brittani Atkinson, 22, won the women’s division in 24:10, followed by Lai-Sahn Hackett (23, Peabody, 26:04), Courtney Ekstrom (21, Lynn, 26:29), Laura Barnes (16, Salem, 27:24) and Amina Babic (17, Salem, 29:21).
In the 7.04-mile course of Breeds Pond and Birch Pond Saugus’ Alex DeRosa, 25, won in a time of 50:15. He was followed by Nakri Dao (42, Lynn, 50:16), Adam Cook (16, Melrose, 50:20), Jim Pawlicki (40, Lynn, 50:32) and Ryan Hayes (36, Woburn, 50:52).Deirdre Lowe, 36, of Salem, won the women’s division in a time of 59:08. She was followed by Katia Bertoldi (37, Salem, 1:03:03), Kelly Morris (47, Lynn, 1:12:35), Christine Scuzzarella (48, Lynn, 1:13:00) and Julie Haynes (56, Swampscott, 1:13:15).
